Successful Bankers’ Fair 2023

At our inaugural Bankers’ Fair, more than 150 builders and developers interested in affordable housing connected to lenders at 7 community banks.

Thanks to our banking sponsors, attendees, and the volunteers that made this event possible!

This unique event brought together builders and developers of affordable housing and enabled them to connect with lenders and below market-rate land opportunities.

The HOUSTON HOUSING COLLABORATIVE, in conjunction with the HOUSTON LAND BANK, invited lenders to promote their financial services to Houston nonprofits and other local developers and builders with an affordable housing focus.

The aim was to identify financing opportunities for new construction or rehab and preservation of affordable homes, whether for ownership or rental. MWBE businesses were encouraged to attended.

The event enabled developers and their partners to link directly with opportunities to access Houston Land Bank properties and other ways to utilize the Land Bank to develop in underserved areas.

This was a welcome networking opportunity for those wishing to expand their business and visibility in a dynamic and rapidly growing sector of the housing market.
