200+ Participated At The 2nd Annual Houston Housing Conference

The Friday before last, the Houston Housing Collaborative had the gumption to hold its 2nd annual Houston Housing Conference. As important as housing affordability is to the Houston region, priorities tend to shift to immediate family and loved ones to share this wonderful season with.

Nevertheless, in spite of the timing, the people participated, and we are grateful!! Thank you to the 200+ who brought their energy, their passion and their voice to this yearโ€™s event. Thank you to all of you who helped inform a housing plan framework document focused on the City of Houston. Once the draft  captures the collective voices who participated that day, the housing framework work group will share the framework once a draft is complete.

Beyond participants, I am grateful to morning presenter KIURโ€™s Dan Potter, workshop organizers, panelists, lunch moderator Adrienne Holloway, afternoon breakout session facilitators, and note-takers. Thanks much to the Community Collective for hosting and our sponsorsโ€”JP Morgan Chase, PNC, Wells Fargo, Third Coast Bank, and Veritex.

In this spirit of thanksgiving, I am greatly appreciative to all of you!! Find all presentations and our feedback survey on our websiteโ€”help us improve for next year. #HoustonHousing # HousingAffordability #AffordableLiving #HousingForAll #CommunityImpact #Gratitude๐Ÿก
